i wrote this song a day or two before one of this project's first shows. it ends up being self-reflective; self-referencing. ultimately, it is a song about appreciation of support. acknowledging the importance of my art to my own existence, this song then also acknowledges the support of friends in encouraging me to carry on. it is gratitude and fun. it is a reflection of surviving funny little pains in life with the help of others. we get through it together. love. the live version sometimes has a lovely little heartbeat build-up intro.
